    Within every cell, countless **protein–protein interactions (PPIs)** orchestrate the biological processes essential for life.
    These interactions regulate cellular signaling, molecular transport, and many other critical functions.
    When they become dysregulated, they can lead to a wide range of diseases.
    For decades, researchers have sought to disrupt disease-causing PPIs inside cells by using molecules that mimic the interaction surfaces of proteins.
    However, this has presented a fundamental challenge. Only **small molecules** can efficiently penetrate the cell membrane and reach intracellular targets.
    Yet designing small molecules that faithfully mimic protein structures and bind with sufficient strength to block PPIs has proven extraordinarily difficult.
    As a result, most intracellular PPIs have long remained an untapped frontier for drug discovery.

    Beyond the cell membrane lies a vast frontier of therapeutic opportunity. **PepMetics®**, the proprietary drug discovery platform developed by PRISM BioLab, is designed to explore this frontier and continuously generate innovative medicines.
    PepMetics® precisely reproduces the **α-helical structures** that are involved in approximately 60% of protein–protein interaction (PPI) interfaces.
    By combining number of helix-mimicking scaffolds with diverse amino acid side chains, the platform enables the creation of billions of structurally diverse compounds.
    This unique molecular design capability opens the door to discovering small molecules capable of disrupting disease-causing intracellular protein–protein interactions—targets that have long been considered beyond the reach of conventional drug discovery.
