Comprehensive Screening of the PepMetics® Library

To accelerate drug discovery programs, PRISM BioLab has established an in-house high-throughput screening (HTS) that enables rapid evaluation of PepMetics® library compounds. Screening assays are designed based on PPI target-specific hypotheses and drug discovery concepts.

High-Throughput Screening Infrastructure

PRISM BioLab has implemented a full suite of HTS-related instruments, including readers for microplate-based assays, automated liquid handling systems for assay reagents, and handling of PepMetics® library compounds. This infrastructure enables an integrated workflow encompassing assay development, screening, and data analysis.

By employing miniaturized assays primarily using 384-well plates, a large number of PepMetics® compounds can be processed efficiently. This capability supports rapid validation of drug targets and identification of hit compounds.

In addition to screening library compounds, the HTS platform is used to evaluate analog compounds generated during hit and lead optimization. The ability to seamlessly transition from primary screening to secondary assays and functional assays allows efficient progression of compounds to subsequent stages of drug discovery.

Through effective utilization of in-house HTS capabilities, PRISM BioLab enhances both the
speed of early-stage research and the quality of decision-making, enabling continuous
generation of promising drug candidates
