Takamitsu Maru
Takamitsu Maru is responsible for in vitro pharmacology at PRISM BioLab. He has approximately 20 years of experience in compound screening and evaluation at Takeda Pharmaceutical and Axcelead DDP, and joined PRISM BioLab in 2025.
He has contributed to development of membrane protein preparation methods and mass spectrometry–based binding assays. He is currently focused on identifying lead compounds using his expertise in biochemistry and biophysics.
He received his master’s degree from Tohoku University.
