Makoto Fushimi is responsible for medicinal chemistry. He joined in 2025, bringing deep expertise in small molecule drug discovery and positron emission tomography probe research from his work at Takeda Pharmaceutical Co., Ltd. Dr. Fushimi performed collaborative research, including projects at the Tri-Institutional Therapeutics Discovery Institute in New York. With broad experience across therapeutic areas, he contributed to the identification of clinical candidates. Dr. Fushimi earned his Ph.D. at Nagoya University.
